A spacious semi-detached house with a classic interior situated by the sea is an excellent getaway for larger families or a group of friends. The quaint village of Old Hunstanton offers a sandy shoreline, a Michelin star restaurant, family-friendly pubs and clifftop walks. Lose yourself in the beauty of the Norfolk coast and explore the surrounding nature reserves in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty — such as Holme Dunes (3.7 miles) or RSPB Titchwell Marsh (5.1 miles). Houghton Hall & Gardens (13 miles) and Sandringham Estate (9.6 miles) are both excellent days out to admire the lavish mansions and explore the grounds. Or go on a boat trip to spot some seals from the busy neighbouring town of Hunstanton (1.2 miles).
Entering this elegant semi-detached house, the sitting/dining area is a bright space with classic decor. There are lots of dark, polished wooden furnishings. Sit with your guests around the warming wood burner under the glowing light of the chandelier. To the side of the sitting area, there’s a wooden table and chairs to seat six for enjoying special mealtimes together. Walking into the kitchen, there’s a large American-style fridge/freezer for storing your treats. Next to the kitchen is a sizeable wood and glass conservatory, which is accessed through big double doors. Sit on the plush, cushioned wicker sofas while admiring the views of the garden or switch on the TV. This room is ideal for relaxing in during winter too. Sit in the warmth of the underfloor heating and gaze out at the stars, or enjoy the winter sun without having to be outside in the cold all day. There’s also a bathroom on the ground floor with a shower and WC. Upstairs, the master bedroom boasts a plump king-size bed and double-aspect windows which look out onto the pretty white lighthouse and the sea. This room also has an en-suite with a lavish, freestanding bath and WC. The second bedroom also has a king-size bed and the final bedroom has bunk beds and more sea views. In the upstairs bathroom, you’ll find a large walk-in shower and a WC.
Walking out into the fully enclosed garden, there’s a long stretch of lawn. Near the house, there’s a patio area which leads to a sheltered gazebo with a large picnic table underneath, which means you can still enjoy your BBQ even if it starts to rain. At the far end of the garden is a pretty log cabin.
