This homely two-storey, fisherman's cottage in a Suffolk coastal village is perfect for a couple or small family seeking a traditional seaside holiday. Tucked away from the high street on a row of terraced houses in Aldeburgh, this property has easy access to the town’s amenities but also benefits from being in a quiet area. There is an excellent selection of restaurants, ice cream parlours, boutique shops and attractions. Enjoy a trip to the sand and shingle Aldeburgh Beach or visit the Aldeburgh Museum (both less than 0.5 miles). There is also a model yacht pond, some art galleries and a bird-watching area (all within 1 mile).
As you enter the cottage, you’ll be greeted with a welcoming and homely atmosphere. Inside the living area with a gentle coastal theme, there are two armchairs and a sofa which sit in front of the Smart TV. Continue into the kitchen/dining area, which has a neutral colour scheme and plenty of surface space for preparing and cooking hearty meals. When you want to dine in, there is a wooden table and chairs to sit at while also making tomorrow's plans. Also on the ground floor is a cloakroom with a separate WC, and the family bathroom which has elegant marble-style tiling, a shower over the bath. Climb the cottage-style stairs to reach the two bedrooms. Make yourself at home in the comfortable master bedroom with a double bed and a tall sash window. The second bedroom has a single bed and a TV.
Outside, there is a compact, sheltered courtyard with a bistro set for two where you can enjoy your morning coffee and a good book or dine alfresco. There’s also a fenced-off garden area with a bench and shrubs.
