Whether you prefer the coastline of the coast path, the beauty and remoteness of the Preseli Hills, or gentle riverside strolls, you can enjoy them all during a stay here. You can stride out from your cottage to walk the lanes and paths around Llanfyrnach, Glogue and Hermon, or walk up to Tegryn and climb the magnificent Frenni Fawr and Frenni Fach, with its folklore and fairies. The Cardi Bach railway line used to run from Llanfyrnach to Glogue through the grounds of this complex of cottages. The old quarry that used to lay the line through the land has also been rewilded to form a small lake for picnicking and wild swimming. Visit the well know Poppit Sands (14 miles), a small, dispersed settlement which lies on the southern side of the estuary of the River Teifi, near Cardigan. It is primarily known for its sandy beach which adjoins St Dogmaels beach at its eastern estuary end.
