Explore the Kent countryside from this delightful single-level property with wild woodland right on the doorstep, perfect for small families and couples. With five acres of unmanaged woodland at the bottom of the garden, there is plenty to explore right from the doorstep. Bewl Water is just two miles away where there are opportunities to learn to sail or take a boat trip. Bedgebury Forest is a great day out for all the family, with walking and bike trails, as well as the treetop adventure of Go Ape. Or for those who love history, the ancient ruins of Scotney Castle are just 1.6 miles away.

This quaint property has two entrances both with storage for shoes and coats. The living room/dining room has a comfortable sofa and two armchairs, as well as a TV, wood burning stove and dining table creating a great social space for families. For mealtimes, the kitchen has all that is needed to cook up breakfast, lunch and dinner with a small additional dining table seating two. There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin - which can be made up as a king on request - which shares the use of the shower room.

Outside is a paved area which can be accessed through the French doors in the living room, there is a set of furniture to enjoy days in the sunshine, a lawn and a pond.

This cottage is perfect for a family of four. It is well equipped and the hosts are very friendly. We felt welcome from the minute we arrived. The location is great for daytrips or for just staying there and enjoying the very peaceful surroundings and a great view.
