This first-floor apartment in the popular seaside town of Aldeburgh oozes style with its chic, loft-style interiors, and makes the ideal base for exploring the stunning Suffolk coast. Located in a quiet area, the flat has easy access to lots of walks and everything in town –¬ including pubs, cafés, and restaurants, and a brilliant selection of craft, gift, food, home, and garden shops. No holiday in Aldeburgh is complete without having fish and chips, and there are several options to choose from. Wander down to the beach – just 0.5 miles from the property – and treat yourself to some fresh fish for dinner or an ice cream then visit Maggi Hambling’s Scallop sculpture, a tribute to Benjamin Britten who lived in Aldeburgh. Explore the area on foot with your furry friend – there are many stunning walks to choose from, including a 6.5-mile circular walk to Thorpeness through some of the best coastal scenery on the Suffolk coast. Go boating on the Meare at Thorpeness (2 miles away) or hire e-bikes from EEZYBIKE (just under 500 metres away) and explore the area by bike. For a bit of local culture, visit the museum, housed in the incredible 16th century Moot Hall (0.5 miles away) to learn about the town’s history.

Communal stairs lead up to the apartment and into a good-sized hall, with storage and a handy desk area, a stunning open plan sitting room/dining area with funky décor, a large, comfy sofa, a TV with LaserDisc (and lots of classic movies to watch), and a large dining table. Off the living room is the very well-equipped kitchen, perfect for cooking up a romantic meal. The bedroom provides luxury with a four-poster double bed, it also has a large wardrobe and plenty of storage for holiday outfits. The flat has a modern en-suite bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, which is also where the washing machine lives.

Apart from arriving to no heating in property on a cold December day, which was fixed quite quickly by the marvellous maintenance team callout, another comfortable stay in 'Interludes'.

An excellent, comfortable stay. The place was so well equipped, warm and tastefully decorated. We immediately felt at home. A great base for our walks and strolling into town in the evening. Shops nearby for most of our groceries. The area has so much to offer. We enjoyed dog walks. Lovely shops in Aldeburgh for tasteful knick knacks and food.

This was our 3rd visit to Interludes so it must be obvious that we rate it highly. Excellent parking, easy to walk to shops and pubs etc, or onto coast path to Thorpeness. We love the decor which is slightly quirky and not your typical seaside holiday cottage. Thanks

Very well equipped, tastefully furnished property. Ideal for a couple using as a base for Aldeburgh (15 mins walk to centre) & to explore the many delights that Suffolk has to offer. Footpath to the rear of the property is a pleasant inland route to Thorpeness & can be combined with a return walk along the beach side.
