An attractive, end-of-terrace cottage, with a pretty garden, this holiday home is set in a tranquil corner of Skipton. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom bolthole is 0.5 miles from the centre of the market town, with its independent shops, cafes and restaurants. Visit the medieval castle, see the ruined priory and walk down the cobbled high street. Plan trips into the Yorkshire Dales, 2 miles away, where you can pick up any number of footpaths. Spend time in Malham, 11 miles away and in the heart of the national park, where you can visit the impressive tarn and curved limestone cove. Take in Gordale Scar, a great ravine in the landscape, 12 miles from the cottage, during your Yorkshire break.
Open the front door to the cottage and step straight into the lounge. This comfortable room is a great place to spend evenings together, playing games or watching TV. Adjoining the lounge is a conservatory, where members of your party might like to steal a few minutes of quiet time with a book perhaps. Amble on through to the kitchen/diner when mealtimes beckon to find this excellent space has been equipped with everything you might need to help you prepare meals with your own ingredients during your stay. At the end of each exciting day, climb the stairs to a double bedroom, which has an en-suite shower room, or the cosy twin room. The family bathroom is also at this level.
Step out from the conservatory to sit out in the small courtyard garden, with its cobbles and grassy area. Have coffee in the sunshine at the table out here.
