Whether you're holidaying as a pair or bringing the entire family along, there's always an abundance of activities close by. Discover the ever-popular Eden Project (10 miles), the National Trust spot of Lanhydrock (5 miles) or the Camel Creek Family Theme Park (12.5 miles) – plenty to keep you busy in-between relaxing days on sandy beaches. Lovely renovated cottage with an apple orchard as a view from the back. Also a very short walk to the river Camel and the Camel trail.

We had a wonderful stay at the Stables, Dunmere, Bodmin. It had everything we wanted for our first dog friendly holiday and was ideally situated centrally to visit Cornwall in all directions including the North Atlantic and the South Coast, the countryside and National Trust property. It was in a lovely very quiet setting up a country lane followRead moreing the Camel Trail. An early morning walk with Rufus along the trail surrounded by the river, trees, bluebells and wild garlic made a perfect start to each day. Hide
