The traditional brick and flint farmhouse, built originally in the 1700s, is full of character as well as contemporary-style furniture and furnishings of high quality, which bring a fresh and modern-day feel to this stunning cottage. Enter the building and turn right to find the sitting room with comfortable seating, TV, DVD and CD player, iPod dock, and large inglenook fireplace with a double wood burner. There’s also a door in here to the courtyard outside. On the other side of this space is a throughway to the games room with the pool table. Head back towards the front door and you’ll find the breakfast room and kitchen with an electric range cooker, dishwasher, central table and eight chairs. Along this corridor is also the cloakroom with space for coats and boots, as well as a WC. And there’s also a utility room with a fridge/freezer, a microwave and a washing machine nearby. To the left of the front door is the dining room with a table and eight chairs, a wood burner and a window seat. Stairs from the hallway lead to the first floor where you’ll find the first three bedrooms: two with king-size beds and one with twin beds. There is a bathroom on this floor with a bath, separate shower and WC, and also a shower room with WC. From the sitting room, move up one floor accessed via steep Norfolk winder stairs not suitable for those with mobility difficulty. to find the final bedroom, a vaulted attic room with twin beds and a large play area, including air hockey and a PlayStation.
