The property was well situated close to the beach and the shops. The one parking space was welcome. The bedrooms and bathrooms were good. The ground floor could have been lighter and more attractively and comfortably furnished. The photos online were a bit deceptive.

A charming, wonderfully located and very spacious cottage. The downstairs shower / wet room by the back door is very handy for families returning from the beach!

A rustic cottage clean and tastefully finished. Very well equipped in the Kitchen, perhaps only falling short on drinks glasses with only two wine glasses and prosecco flutes that we could see. Overall very comfortable and perfectly located for the Beach, Pier and pubs etc - would recommend.

Would recommend Rowan Villa as an ideal location in Southwold, very close to the beach, the lighthouse, the Sole Bay pub & local shops. We had four adults & two children so the bedroom & bathroom arrangements works well. The kitchen is spacious with a family table, it had all the tools needed to prepare meals and the lounge was nicely furnished. ThRead moree broadband tended to be a bit slow but didn't cause any problems. Parking was fine for two cars. Hide

Beautiful home. Perfectly located and very well equipped with anything you may need for your stay. As a person with arthritis, I personally found the living room furniture too low and squishy, but this wouldn't be an issue for most. Great to have own private parking. Would recommend to others.

Rowan Villa has a great location just near the lighthouse with comfortable furnishings. Travel cot and high chair were good for our toddler. We enjoyed our stay and really appreciated the off street parking available at the property.

Five of us have just enjoyed an Easter break at Rowan Villa. Our first visit to Southwold. Comfortable accommodation and in a perfect position. The house has some lovely touches, just as seen in the photos. Parking is essential and here you can accommodate one car on site, with a second parked roadside. We would definitely book again.

Nicely presented home. Loved the main bedroom, comfortable beds. We had to descale the showers. Garden furniture and the garden could be more inviting with higher standard of furniture and a larger patio. 6 of us could not sit outside comfortably.

We have returned to Rowan Villa a number of times. It is perfectly located in Southwold and has the benefit of a parking space. The Villa is really comfortable and has everything a family needs for an enjoyable holiday. Southwold itself is beautiful with a wonderful sandy beach and a whole range of shops and eateries.

The property is as described. Comfortable and well maintained family accommodation, perfecttly situated for beach and town. We liked the excellent information- eg how the oven works etc as well as places to viisit/ eat. Expensive but predictable given this was half term and Southwold such an ideal family place. Good to have private parking.
