An inviting Wells-next-the-Sea holiday home, with a fascinating history as a former pub or inn, this delightful cottage makes a comfortable holiday retreat. Sleeping up to six guests the three-bedroom abode combines bright living spaces with original charm. From here, stroll 350m down to the quay, where you can watch the creeks rise and fall with the tides and hang crab lines down to the water. The golden beach is just over 1 mile away and is the perfect place to paddle, swim and play games on the sand. While away your mornings browsing in the independent shops of the town and dine out in one of its many varied cafes, pubs or restaurants.
Step into the cottage and you’ll find yourself in the welcoming and cosy lounge where you can light the wood burner in the inglenook fireplace and enjoy a film on the Smart TV as the flames crackle gently in the background. Head through to the kitchen to prepare meals for your party, then serve them up at the table in the dining room. There is a dishwasher in the kitchen to make clearing up easy and a washing machine in a lobby, for rinsing through your beach gear. The family bathroom is also at ground-floor level. Head up to the first floor to discover a double bedroom with WC and a twin room. Another twin bedroom can be found up on the second floor.
On sunnier days, spend time in the enclosed, walled courtyard garden. Set the table out here for meals in the sunshine and light the BBQ when you feel like cooking in the fresh air.
