If you’d like a relaxing day at the beach, Barmouth (14 miles) and Fairbourne (13 miles) boast tranquil sandy shores.
Make your way along the stone path to reach the wooden front door of this characterful and charming cottage. The bedrooms and bathrooms are on the ground floor of this reverse-level property. The master bedroom is a cosy and romantic space with dark wooden beams stretching across the ceiling, a comfortable double bed and an en-suite with a shower over the bath and WC. Wake up in the morning to relaxing views of the garden and distant mountain range through your patio door. Inside the second bedroom, you’ll find twin beds and another en-suite with a shower cubicle and WC. An additional cloakroom with a WC can be found on the ground floor. Climb the wooden, open-tread staircase from the hallway to reach the first-floor sitting room. There’s also a large armchair in the corner of the room, which is perfect for relaxing with a good book. Or, there are two wooden chairs on either side of a table which is ideal for sitting to enjoy a competitive card game. Walk through the square archway in the stone wall to reach the sizable, neutral-toned kitchen and dining area with a pine table and chairs. There is plenty of space on the ‘U’-shaped fitted kitchen units for preparing special home-cooked meals for your guests.
Surrounding the property are thriving trees, shrubs and blooming flowers, which creates a rural, woodland cottage feel. An enclosed, south-facing garden can be found to the rear of the property.
