This fabulous, traditional property has been planned to perfection to accommodate families. From the sprawling wooden play equipment through to the games area in the loft room, its well-thought-out layout and facilities make family holidaying a breeze. Less than 2 miles away is the bustling old harbour resort of Abersoch. With a high street boasting plenty of shops, cafes and pubs, as well as water sports options at the sandy beach, and a golf club, it's a fantastic option for all ages and tastes. The impressive peaks of Snowdonia in the distance are a stunning and inviting backdrop. The Ffestiniog steam train is around 20 miles east of the cottage and offers great adventure for those wanting an exciting day out. Enjoy the views as the train winds up into the craggy hills and pine forests of Snowdonia National Park.

Hidden away at the end of a private road, this stone cottage has bags of character and offers traditional features with modern touches. The spacious lounge has comfy sofas to sink into after a busy day at the beach or exploring the countryside. Gather around the wood burner as the sun sets over the sea or enjoy a cosy film night together. The spacious kitchen with traditional slate floors has plenty of room for both chefs and diners, with plenty of worktop space, and a large dining table and chairs for family meals. There are two ground-floor double bedrooms, and both enjoy views out to the front garden and beyond. They also benefit from a family bathroom on the ground floor. From the kitchen, a steep wooden staircase leads up to a wonderful twin loft room with an air of a secret den about it. With two single beds on one side of the stairs and a games area on the other side, children will adore this secret hideaway and the treat of having an entire floor to themselves.

Throw open the French doors from the lounge to the covered patio and start your day with magnificent views to go with your morning coffee. There are two sociable outdoor spaces: a deck area with an outdoor sofa, armchair and coffee table, and a patio with outdoor dining furniture. The large gardens are a peaceful setting to enjoy the fabulous hot tub with a view. Catch the sunset while indulging in a bit of well-earned luxury.

We had a lovely week. The cottage was excellent - comfortable and a lovely location. We would definitely return. We were anxious about the hot tub lid at one point, only to find a new one in place the next day. The oven often tripped the electrics but we managed. Tea towels would be nice and a way to dry towels when the weather is wet. However, oveRead morerall it is probably the nicest cottage we have ever stayed in and we thank you for a lovely break. Hide
