If you love exploring on foot or bike, try the many routes available on the doorstep including countryside trails and National Cycle Routes. Lowestoft (16 miles) is the most easterly coastal town in the UK and the first place to see the sunrise every day. Enjoy a morning, or a whole day, on the beautiful sandy beach there. For fabulous family days out, visit Bungay Castle (4 miles), Pettitts Animal Adventure Park (15 miles) or head 18 miles into Norwich city centre.

This lovingly converted cottage has been furnished and decorated to a high standard and provides a real home away from home. Heading inside, you will find an attractive lounge/diner with a traditional inglenook fireplace housing a wood burner, with starter logs provided by the owners. Take a seat on the comfortable sofa and watch your favourite Netflix shows on the Smart TV or watch a film using the DVD player. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen with its electric cooker, fridge with icebox, microwave and dishwasher. Then sit together around the dining table and enjoy a delicious meal together. The double bedroom completes the downstairs, which has an en-suite wet room (shower and WC)  Upstairs are two comfortable bedrooms, a bright and airy double room, and a further twin single room with plenty of storage space. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC completes the interior of the property.

Soak away the day in the bubbling hot tub which is under cover and therefore can be used whatever the weather. You will also have access to a large, shared meadow, perfect for lawn games or having a kick about, and a fully fenced dog paddock, so your four-legged friends can run free. There is ample parking.

Weve just come back from a week at Cedar and can highly recommend it as a get away from it all location we travelled as a family of four adults and two dogs and were made to feel incredibly welcome; Clare and Scott (and Atticus and Bear) were the perfect hosts. We wanted somewhere to escape from our busy lives for a while and this worked reallyRead more well we walked, we beached, we hot-tubbed, we barbecued, we sofa-d, we chilled, we ran with the dogs in the secure field and generally just had a relaxing reset break altogether, just perfect! Somewhat remote and restrictive for a family on a budget. Excellent base for visiting Yarmouth, Southwold and surrounding places.
