A short, 1-mile downhill stroll will bring you into the centre of Lee Bay, where you’ll find a welcoming traditional pub serving local ale and Devon cider. Find the secluded, craggy cove at Lee Bay, an idyllic spot for a picnic or rock pooling. From here, you can join the South West Coast Path and walk along the dramatic clifftops to reach Ilfracombe or Mortehoe (both 3 miles). For a slightly livelier atmosphere, head to the seaside resort of Woolacombe (3.5 miles). This surfing hotspot is a great place to try a variety of water sports, and there’s also a 3-mile stretch of golden sand to explore, along with an excellent selection of independent pubs and restaurants, many of which serve delicious local seafood.

The space is bathed in natural light, thanks to impressive patio doors opening out onto the terrace, and has ample comfortable seating arranged around a TV/DVD. Rustle up a tasty meal for the group in the stylish kitchen to enjoy together around the formal dining table or, on a warm evening, take it outside onto the terrace. Also on the ground floor, you’ll find a games room with table football and a PlayStation – the ideal place for children to enjoy a bit of independence. Three of the bedrooms – a double and two twins – are located on this level, along with a bathroom and wet room. There is also a utility room, with handy access to the terrace, housing a washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer, and sink. The remaining bedrooms are located on the first floor and comprise a king-size with French doors opening onto a roof terrace, a king-size with a handy additional single bed and en-suite shower room, and a children’s bunk bedroom. A chic shower room completes the accommodation.
