The small village of Broad Haven has been renowned as a traditional seaside resort since the 1800s. Explore Broad Haven Beach, 5 miles away, where you can hire a surfboard, paddleboard, wetsuit and kayak on the seafront or explore the plethora of rock pools below the cliffs before heading to the north end of the beach to explore the craggy Lions Head. At low tide, you can walk from Broad Haven to Little Haven along the beach past a bay called The Settlands. Meander along the gentle Pembrokeshire Coast Path (11.5 miles) south to St Brides Haven via Little Haven or head north to discover Newgale, past Druidston Haven and Nolton Haven.
The cottage welcomes you straight into the spacious, open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, complete with a high vaulted ceiling, exposed wooden timber frames, and traditional white painted brick walls. The living area comprises a large leather corner sofa and TV/DVD. Partitioned away from the living area by the corner sofa, the dining area boasts characterful wooden benches arcing around a pine table. Nestled partly underneath the staircase, you’ll find a well-equipped contemporary kitchen. Through the cottage, you’re met with a fully tiled family bathroom, as well as one double and one single bedroom, all benefiting from feature exposed ceiling beams. Upstairs to the mezzanine level, you’ll find an open gallery twin bedroom underneath the eaves with feature ebony exposed timber frames.
A small patio to the front of the cottage is the perfect suntrap to enjoy dining alfresco, leading down onto a vast shared lawn featuring a BBQ area and toddlers’ play area. You also have access to a shared laundry room.
