Set along a quiet cul-de-sac this bright and relaxing property makes a great holiday home for up to eight guests discovering the idyllic beaches and spellbinding countryside of the Llyn Peninsula. The cottage is just half a mile from the centre of Abersoch, a cheerful coastal village at the head of Cardigan Bay, with some friendly restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops. You will also have access to a handy beach hut along the beautiful Traeth Abersoch Beach. The village is home to a fantastic 18-hole golf course, and is a popular spot for sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and paddleboarding. From the harbour you can take a boat trip out towards St Tudwal’s Islands where you can spot the resident grey seals.
Entering this fresh and airy property the hallway leads through to the spacious open-plan lounge/diner. The lounge is a cosy space with an open fire, and the dining area is nicely situated over by the patio doors allowing plenty of light to stream in. The colourful kitchen hints at the property’s coastal location. Three of the property’s four relaxing bedrooms are on the ground floor, all with pleasant views. The double and the twin room each have a built-in wash basin, and there’s also a full-size bunk bedroom. The ground floor has a family bathroom as well as a separate WC. Stairs lead up to the first floor which has a spacious landing area making a useful space for children to play board games – a selection is provided. This floor features the final bedroom, a light and cosy twin room.
Outside, the cottage has a charming open grass garden to the front. Patio doors lead from the dining area onto a raised patio overlooking the fully enclosed back garden with a lawn. The patio has plenty of outdoor furniture and a BBQ – great for relaxing on those warmer evenings.
