Local attractions include Herston Halt Railway Station (1 mile), where you can board a steam train for a tour of the countryside, the Dorset Adventure Park (5.5 miles) and Brownsea Island with its remarkable castle (8 miles). Dorset’s fabulous countryside is there to be explored, with The Blue Pool (8.5 miles) - perfect for an easy-going waterfront walk. Closer to home, you’ll find plenty to keep you busy without leaving Swanage. Swanage Beach, a golden sandy spot with mini golf, arcades and a Victorian pier, is less than 0.5 miles from the property and is a great place to relax and play throughout the summer months.

This cosy three-bedroom apartment is light and bright with extremely comfortable furnishings throughout. The open-plan lounge/diner is a welcoming space, with wooden flooring, comfy seating in front of the TV and DVD player, and a large dining table. This is perfectly situated by the window to make the most of the views out over the town. From here, there is a staircase leading up to a mezzanine king-size bedroom with ample space to relax. We love this beautiful and well equipped flat; its perfect for a family holiday, having everything you would need and even more (we always cook a full Sunday roast whilst we are visiting!). We have stayed six times in the past 4&1/2 years and keep coming back because its so bright and spacious, clean and welcoming, and perfectly placed in Swanage tRead moreo explore the seaside town and the wider area. Our four children (aged 1 to 14) always request to come back, so when we are not camping in Corfe Castle, this is our go to holiday home. The beds are super comfy, the dining table is perfect for a family breakfast and the showers are hot. Theres even the odd bucket and spade in the cupboard, bookshelves full of books for adults and children, and board games and puzzles too. What more could you want?! Hide

We had a great time , the flat was beautiful and very well equipped . The location was absolutely perfect . Close to shops, sea and railway station . We thoroughly enjoyed our week.

Great flat, excellent location to exploring Swanage and the rest of the Isle of Purbeck. Slept our party of 5 adults comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A lovely well equipped apartment with views out to the Purbeck hills. The location is central to the town and a short walk to the beach. We will try to book it again for next year.

The property was very close to the centre of Swanage, so location was the biggest plus. It is a 5 min walk to the shops which is great. The property itself is not as we were expecting in terms of cleanliness though, some easy fixes like replacement of fraying bath mats, mouldy curtains and a pillow that shouldn't of been used by guests that we beliRead moreeve led to a member of our party getting ill from. One plus is the well stocked kitchen which has lots of utensils and crockery. Cleanliness is its biggest issue. When this is sorted out it will be a great stay. Hide

Well equipped property in an incredibly convenient location. Supermarket and Swanage station are literally at the end of the road. Our second stay here, both during February half term, and seeing the steam of the train from the windows is always a delight. Will probably come again if circumstances allow.

This property has an excellent location and plenty of space for the 5 adults in our party. It is comfortable, though the kitchen and wet rooms are a bit tired as is the kitchen equipment. More seriously, there is a significant problem with mould and with poor ventilation. Parking in the allotted space can be tricky.
