The picturesque village of Cawston makes a great base for discovering this stunning part of Norfolk. The immediate area is perfect for enjoying long country walks, fishing, bike trails, horse riding and swimming, with a choice of great places to eat and drink in the nearby market towns of Aylsham (5 miles) and Reepham (3 miles). The historic city of Norwich is to the south (14 miles), with its two superb cathedrals, medieval castle, the lively Norwich Lanes and the tranquil Plantation Garden. Other local attractions include Blickling Hall, RAF Oulton and Felbrigg Hall, Gardens and Estate (all within 15 miles). Heading north you can spend a day at the seaside at Cromer, Sheringham or Mundesley (all within 18 miles).

Entering this gorgeous cottage you will find the warm and welcoming lounge. With exposed beams and a wood burner-effect electric fire set in a lovely inglenook fireplace, this is an ideal space to curl up with a good book, chat about the day or snuggle up to watch a movie on the TV/DVD. There’s also a selection of books to browse and games to play. Exploring further, the airy and spacious kitchen/diner provides a great spot for cooking and sharing all your favourite family meals around the sociable dining table. With ceiling beams and a tiled floor, the kitchen has a range of useful equipment including an electric oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. When it’s time to retire to bed, head through to the two fresh and cosy bedrooms, both featuring plenty of storage space with wooden floors and wall timbers. The first is a pretty double room which has the benefit of an en-suite shower room with a WC. The second is a cosy twin room with patio doors leading out to the swimming pool. The cottage also features a charming family bathroom complete with a bath, hand-held shower and WC.

Heading outside, the fully enclosed patio area features a BBQ and outdoor furniture, making a fantastic spot for a morning coffee, or for dining alfresco. You will also have access to the owner’s heated outside pool (weather permitted, Please note we will only heat the pool if weather permitting), available between May and September, along with its charming garden room which features a changing room, shower, WC and a pretty seating area. Parking is available for two cars.

This is a lovely cottage where you feel at home with everything. Ivan and Margaret are excellent hosts who are there if you need them but do not bother you. it is centrally located with plenty to do around the area we would not hesitate to come back again thankyou for a lovely relaxed week

We had a lovely, peaceful and relaxing time at the coach house. The weather was lovely so we were able to make full use of the wonderful swimming pool. It is the main reason we booked the holiday. Lovely cottage with all you need provided for a nice relaxing break. Nice big pool, and a very quiet area so if youre looking for a peaceful get away this is ideal!

Such a charming properly in a lovely location, just enough away from the hustle and bustle of daily life but if you want to you can go into one of the local towns a short drive away. The children loved the pool it was the highlight of their holiday. Thank you! :)
