Light and airy, this spacious bungalow with a large garden has everything a group of friends or family could need for a super holiday by the sea. Pop out of the front door to the marketplace to buy ingredients for dinner, with an excellent range of small shops, including a greengrocers, butchers, and deli less than 500 metres away. Wander to the promenade, less than 300 metres away, or stroll to Southwold Beach and the town’s famous pier to visit the arcade and gift shop. Head towards the lighthouse and on to Southwold Harbour (1.5 miles) where you can hop on a tiny ferry that takes you across the creek to Walberswick – a quirky village home to crabbing and several celebrities. Discover the scenic landscape and varied wildlife of the local coastline on the Suffolk Coast Path, which passes through Southwold, or spend the day on the Denes Beach (1 mile from the property). It's a little wilder than Southwold Beach and perfect for all sorts of water sports, a beautiful walk or wild swimming.
The bungalow opens onto a spacious hall which leads to the sitting room, with all mod cons, books, and games, and lots of light – it’s a great place to relax with a good book or watch something on the Smart TV. The dining area has patio doors out to the garden and leads through to the newly refurbished kitchen which has top quality appliances, including a coffee machine. Make yourself a brew and then take your mug out to the patio to hear the morning birds. The house has three good-sized, bright, and airy bedrooms: a king, a twin and a single. The king-size room benefits from an en-suite with a shower, and there’s also a lovely modern family bathroom for guests to use.
Outside is a large mature garden on all sides of the house. It’s a lovely private space mainly laid to lawn with a secluded patio area with dining furniture – perfect for your morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine.
