This historic, semi-detached cottage is located in the quiet, rural village of Dyffryn Ardudwy within the Snowdonia National Park, boasting views over the surrounding countryside that’s right there for you and your family to explore including on tours in Snowdonia. Family beach days are yours with the sands of Morfa Dyffryn less than a mile away. A wonderful way to explore is on the scenic Cambrian Coast railway which passes through Dyffryn Ardudwy. For a fun-filled day out, visit the harbour town of Barmouth (6 miles) where you can spot seals and dolphins on boat trips and treat yourselves at cafes, restaurants and ice cream parlours.

The open-plan ground floor of this cottage is a lovely place to relax together. Home cook in the kitchen, dine at the five-seater table beside garden-access patio doors offering wonderful countryside views, then kick back and relax in the living room where sofas and armchairs sit beside a flame effect electric fire in a stone, beamed feature fireplace that adds traditional charm. Turn on the TV for entertainment. One of the sofas can be converted into a bed for alternative sleeping arrangements and, handily, the ground floor also boasts a WC. Climb the steep spiral staircase to the three homely bedrooms - a double, a single and one with bunk beds - which all boast lovely views across the surrounding fields. There is also a bathroom with a shower over a bath on this first floor, ideal for soaking after outdoor pursuits.

Create more family memories outdoors on the rear enclosed patio garden with steps which catches the sun. With its BBQ, dining furniture, sun umbrella and picturesque vistas over the surrounding fields, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy family dinners and relaxation alfresco - any time of day.

We had a great time on our week in North Wales, staying in this cottage. Entry on arrival was easy with off road parking and key safe. The outside area is large and private and had a BBQ provided. The bedrooms and mattresses were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The electric hob takes sRead moreome getting used to if not familiar. The living area was very comfortable with instructions for everything. The beach is a simple 20 minute walk and had shops closeby. The spiral staircase may not suit everyone but for a family of 4 or 5 its a great value option. Hide
