Situated in a quiet countryside spot yet only 1 mile from Padstow, this barn in North Cornwall is ideal for groups of four wanting to explore the coast and countryside. Padstow is one of the area’s most popular holiday destinations. The working harbour town has plenty of restaurants and pubs to enjoy, as well as several beaches. Soak up the sun, try out paddleboarding or take a boat trip out to sea. If you love walking or cycling, take the Camel Trail, a traffic-free old railway route which runs from Padstow to Bodmin. If you have children with you, head to the fun-filled Camel Creek Theme Park (5 miles) with animal petting areas and kids' rides.
This charming stone cottage is accessed via a courtyard, from which you’ll step straight into the spacious lounge/diner. With patio doors that offer far-reaching countryside views, and a warming wood burner too, this is the perfect room to sit and enjoy an evening in. A four-seater dining table provides space for guests to enjoy eating together. The practical kitchen has all the amenities you’d need, and a low-level kitchen sink is provided. The double bedroom is also situated on this floor with an en-suite wet room and WC. This shower room has a fold-down rail, grab rails and a call assistance button. Completing this level you will find a bathroom with a shower over, and a WC. Take the spiral staircase to the mezzanine level to the next bedroom, which has twin beds, suitable for two guests.
Outside to the front of the property is a pretty courtyard with seating. Alternatively, the patio doors lead out to the rear garden where there’s a lovely, lawn space with mature shrubbery.
