We really enjoyed our stay. It is a great location and very cosy. Perfect for exploring Southwold and right next to the beach with sea views in the morning. The kitchen is pretty small for cooking for a family of four but not impossible.

Lovely location. Great to get up in the morning and walk just a few yards to the beach and in the opposite direction the Sole Bay Inn was very good. Lighthouse right behind and the light at night felt very reassuring. The cottage is basic but clean. Great for a dog holiday though.

This cottage is delightful. It is clean, cosy and comfortable, and well equipped. This was our second stay here, and it is wonderful to be so close to the sea!

The cottage is in a great position and although small is a perfectly fine space for a couple for a week. There are a number of improvements required however to make this acceptable as a 3 star. There were issues with an old mattress, cleanliness of towels & utensils, and hot water. Weve stayed in many Southwold properties over the years and thesRead moree things need resolving before wed choose this over those properties. Hide

Location was fantastic. Not hugely comfortable, but adequate as weather nice enough to be out most of the day. Would benefit from a few minor touches such as fresh milk on arrival, and newer towels.
