Both villages have a range of eateries to choose from, including the seasonal Sri Lankan curry shack at Barricane Beach in the summer. You can follow the South West Coast Path in either direction for more spectacular views, with Morte Point (1 mile) offering the perfect place to watch seals and sunsets. Further afield, Putsborough, Croyde and Saunton (12 miles) all offer clean surf and beach cafes.
