This pretty barn conversion makes for the perfect bolthole for a couple and is one of two holiday cottages set on a busy working farm. You’re just 3 miles south-east of Colwyn Bay, which has a sand and shingle beach, a water sports centre, a bustling nightlife scene and the conservation-oriented Welsh Mountain Zoo with rare and endangered species from around the world. The town of Conwy, 6 miles away, is one of Britain’s best-preserved medieval towns and has cafes, local breweries, pubs and independent shops. The Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno is also 6 miles away and outdoor pursuits in Snowdonia National Park are just 10 miles.
The cottage has large arched doors leading into the cosy living/dining area and original features including exposed wood beams. A hand-made galley kitchen is equipped with a Belfast sink and a utility room shared with the other holiday property features a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. Head up the stairs to the first floor for the lovely double bedroom with an en-suite shower room.
Enjoy morning coffee on your patio or explore the extensive grounds, which include lawns, seating areas and a pond with a bridge.
