For a romantic retreat in a beautiful rural setting, this glamping pod is a great option, with all you could need for a few nights away in Mid Wales. Located on a small glamping and caravan site at Spring Rock Fishery, it’s a fantastic place to try your hand at coarse fishing (carp), and sessions are available to book in advance. At night, gaze up at the twinkling stars in the unspoilt countryside, then wake up to explore the trails right from your doorstep. Abbey Cwm Hir Hall and Gardens (9 miles) is a great option for a day trip, or head to Rhayader where you can visit the Red Kite Feeding Station and observe the array of local wildlife.
A quaint but well-equipped glamping pod, this lovely accommodation is accessed up a step and has fantastic views that can be seen right from the double bed. The studio space has a TV for entertainment, and plenty of facilities to make snacks and meals during your stay, which are tucked away in a useful storage shelf. Shared facilities for washing up, WCs and showers can be found just a few metres away.
Outside, set up the folding table and two chairs on the wooden deck to make the most of the scenery and see a dramatic sunset at the end of a day of exploring.
