Taking in the sights from Rock to the old iron bridge, friends or families can enjoy panoramic views of the ever-changing estuary from almost every room in this beautifully presented home. Situated in a quiet area, 0.5 miles from Padstow’s historic harbour, the town’s many fantastic pubs and seafood restaurants are within easy reach. For those who enjoy a more adventurous holiday, the Camel Trail is right on your doorstep, providing easy walking or cycling access to the market town of Wadebridge (5.3 miles). There is also the option of taking the short ferry ride over to the attractive village of Rock to discover the wide range of water sports on offer. Though Padstow has its own beaches just a short walk through the town, many other glorious sandy surfing beaches are nearby, including Constantine and Harlyn Bay (both 4.4 miles).

This luxurious property has been finished to a very high level throughout, capitalising on those inspiring estuary views. The large, double-height lounge/diner is flooded with light from skylights above and French patio doors to the side and front that soak up the panorama beyond. Two comfortable sofas and an armchair are arranged to maximise the viewing pleasure of both the river and the large flat-screen TV. The kitchen has a distinctly cottagey feel and comes fully equipped with everything a chef could need. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and shares those spectacular views with access to the outdoor deck. This room also features an en-suite shower and WC. There are two further bedrooms, one with twin single beds and one with a bunk bed. There is also a stylish family bathroom with a bath, shower, and WC and a separate utility room.

Outside, this property has a lot to offer, with a well-kept lawned garden and a glass-sided decking area presenting uninterrupted views of the Camel Estuary and rolling Cornish hills beyond. There is outdoor furniture, a BBQ and a garage for storing bikes and surfboards.

A very comfortable property in an excellent location with a fantastic view from a light and airy property. A few minutes walk into Padstow, off road parking and storage for bikes. Clean, well equipped and as per photos on the website when we booked. We will definitely be back.

Its all about the view ! Stunning & ever changing . It is a very clean comfortable and well equipped property .The location is excellent. It was great to be able to walk into Padstow and to start some walks from there.

Amazing views from this property. You can walk in to Padstow from this property. Mattress in main bedroom is quite comfortable en-suite bathroom is a tight squeeze but amazing property and I would definitely look to book this property again.

This was the 2nd year that we stayed in Avocets. It was just as lovely as last year. A short walk into Padstow and the many restaurants. We were lucky with the weather so could really enjoy the view over the estuary.

Excellent location with great access to the Camel Trail and only a short walk into the town. Beds comfortable with very good linen. Great to have access to the garage to keep bikes safe and dry. Equipment probably the best we have had at a holiday property. Great meals at Rojanos and Rick Stein's fish and chips but very disappointing for two of us Read moreat The Mariner's in Rock - the Cote de Bouffe was expensive and far too fatty! My daughter and husband had a fabulous meal at No6 (special treat). Camel Valley Winery a great place to visit and have their tour which includes a "flight" of their sumptuous wines. Granddaughter loved the lobster hatchery and witnessed a release at Gaverne bay. Dolphin watch was a great success - lots of dolphins and a few calves. Trevose golf club was brilliant. Definitely recommend this property and will no doubt return. Hide

We had a wonderful week at Avocets. The property has everything we needed and was beautifully clean and well positioned. Although the weather wasn't brilliant in early March we did go on quite a few walks, we took our bikes and rode the Camel Trail and had amazing food at Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant and most particularly, at Paul Ainsworth's NRead moreo. 6 restaurant which was truly amazing!
