Situated on half an acre of grounds in the northern Yorkshire Dales National Park, this homely cottage is the perfect getaway for outdoor enthusiasts. It is just 2 miles to the friendly market town of Hawes, with its independent shops, local pubs and quaint tea rooms. The area offers endless walks, including the beautiful waterfalls of Cotter Force, Hardraw Force and Aysgill Force all within 3.5 miles. Hawes is also the endpoint for the Buttertubs Pass, along which there are some breathtaking hikes as well as popular spots for cyclists. Alternatively, travel 6 miles to Semerwater – a lovely spot for canoeing, walking and cycling.

Enter into the porch where you can leave boots and coats and through into the comfortable lounge which has been lovingly decorated to complement the exposed beams and farmhouse door. There is plenty of space for all to settle down on the sofas in the evening in front of the wood burner and enjoy a film on the Smart TV. Take a peaceful moment to sit down at the writing table by the window looking out across the fields. Prepare delicious family meals in the quaint country-style kitchen with a warming Rayburn, exposed beams, tiled floor and farmhouse table. Admire the views through the arch window as you enjoy your meal together. Finally, on the ground floor, there is a handy WC. Head upstairs to the three delightful bedrooms, each carefully decorated with rustic wooden furnishings to ensure comfort and relaxation. The king-size bedroom has an en-suite with a shower, while the remaining bedrooms share a family bathroom.

Outside is a patio with a south-facing seating area, and a further lawn surrounding the property with additional garden furniture. There is also plenty of storage space for bikes.
