This bright, light bungalow with breathtaking views is the perfect place for a group of friends or a family looking for the quintessential British seaside holiday. It is under a mile to the delights of Broadsands Beach, as well as a selection of excellent local shops, and a bus stop to explore nearby Brixham and Paignton. It’s also an ideal location for those who love going for long coastal walks, as the house is situated just a few hundred metres away from the South West Coast Path. Elberry Cove is a nearby idyllic pebble beach with beautiful clear water. It can be reached by a footpath from the house that goes through a field or two – like Broadsands, it is under 1 mile away.
The bungalow itself makes the most of its location thanks to wide windows framing the panoramic views across Broadsands Beach, the pitch and putt golf course and the whole of Torbay stretching out beyond in the distance. The spacious kitchen/diner, fitted with pale shaker-style units, has all the modern conveniences including a Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machine with coffee pods. The lounge is furnished with a sofa, armchairs and Smart TV for relaxing – though most eyes will be on the fabulous panoramic sea views. Leading through the hallway, beyond the front door, is a shower room and WC next to the king-size master bedroom with a fabulous sea view.. Waking up here is spectacular as one can take in the panoramic sea views, without even leaving the bed. Next to the master bedroom is a double bedroom, and a third bedroom next door with twin beds, both with views over the rear garden. Next to the twin bedroom is the attractive family bathroom with a shower over an L-shaped bath, and WC. Finally, there is a fourth bedroom (available at an additional cost), which is self-contained with a small double bed, Wi-Fi access, wash basin and WC, and has separate access via the rear garden – a great spot for an additional guest or teenager who would like their own private space. It is not accessible from the main bungalow though, so would not be suitable for younger children.
The back door leads out onto a sunny patio and the slightly sloping garden rising above. The tiered rear garden invites guests to enjoy al fresco dining. The outside dining area gains all the afternoon sun. Even in the colder months, it's a sheltered spot, meaning you can still enjoy a glass of wine or afternoon tea in the fresh air. There is a nice spot at the top of the garden boasting magnificent views of Torbay including Broadsands Beach and the steam train.
