Amlwch holiday accommodation

The town of Amlwch can be found close to the north coast of the island of Anglesey, in north-west Wales. Though Amlwch has no beach, it does possess impressive coastal cliffs offering splendid views out over the Irish Sea, and even as far as the Isle of Man if the weather is particularly clear.

At the peak of the town’s copper mining boom in the 18th century, Amlwch was famous for having one pub for every four residents. Though many have now gone, there are still some excellent pubs here, including the Queen's Head and The Mariner.
