Self-catering holiday cottages in Blythburgh

Blythburgh is a pretty, unspoilt village in Suffolk located near Walberswick and Southwold and is particularly well known for its beautiful church which is set in a commanding position overlooking the Blyth Valley. The Holy Trinity Church is, in fact, said to be one of Suffolk's finest medieval churches and is particularly striking at night when its floodlit exterior creates a magical scene as you drive through the village.

Our Blythburgh holiday cottages are close to the village's historic pub which offers good food and fine views of the estuary and river. The pub is also a popular starting point for a beautiful walking trail that follows the river and extends all the way through woodland and onto Walberswick Common. Our Blythburgh cottages are also perfectly located as a base from which to discover the picturesque villages of Westleton, Middleton and Dunwich and for visiting RSPB Minsmere – former home of the BBC's Springwatch series.

Not far inland from Blythburgh is the historic market town of Halesworth. Alongside several galleries and The Cut Arts Centre, Halesworth offers a pedestrian thoroughfare which boasts a good selection of boutiques, gift shops, cafes, a health food shop, a bakery and an antiques centre. Halesworth also hosts a weekly market on Wednesdays with a good selection of stalls and a farmers’ market on the first Saturday of each month. So, to explore all of these beautiful places and more, book one of our holiday cottages in Blythburgh today!
