Self-catering accommodation in Boncath

A few miles south of the town of Cardigan, close to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, lies the village of Boncath in West Wales. Its name is derived from the Welsh word for buzzard, ‘bwncath’. Within the village is a pub, shop and Post Office and handful of small businesses – a true rural Welsh village.

Enjoy the peace of the little village while being perfectly located for exploring Pembrokeshire. Pembrokeshire is famous for its magnificent coastal scenery, the flora and fauna can be enjoyed by way of coastal walks that will take in sandy beaches and magical coves. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is an excellent place to start but there are also opportunities to enjoy actives such as kayaking, surfing, and diving.

Boncath holiday inspiration

The ancient market town of Boncath is just 6 miles away and is a pretty place to spend a day. Wander its narrow streets and pick from one of the many eateries to enjoy a leisurely lunch or afternoon tea. Cardigan is the main town on the northern end of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, and, as such, there are lots of beautiful walks to enjoy around Cardigan Bay.

Our lovely selection of Boncath cottages are set amongst some beautiful scenery and allow you to enjoy both the rural and coastal adventures on offer. Enjoy a slower pace of life – choose from our Boncath holiday cottages today and look forward to a wonderful Welsh holiday.
