Holiday cottages & self-catering accommodation in Bradworthy, Devon

The Saxon North Devon village of Bradworthy is steeped in history and surrounded by rolling hills and ancient valleys. Choose to stay in one of our Bradworthy cottages and you'll be well-placed to enjoy this charming corner of Devon, whether you're looking to go walking, surfing, sailing or simply want to relax. There is a local legend that a nymph called Tamara and a giant’s son, Torridge, created the two rivers that lie on either side of the village. And the local community are known as ‘horniwinks’, after the bird which once lived on the local moor.

The sweeping golden sands of Bude and Widemouth Bay are within 14 miles, with excellent surfing and coastal walks. Or you could jump in the car and head to the Tamar Lakes, under 5 miles away, where you can enjoy fishing, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, wildlife watching and tranquil lakeside strolls. From our Bradworthy holiday cottages, you are also within easy reach of the cobbled streets of Clovelly or for an adrenaline-filled day out with the kids, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Park are not to be missed.
