Self-catering holidays & accommodation in Brede

Located 4 miles north of Rye, our Brede holiday cottages are set in a small Sussex village in a gorgeous riverside location. Brede is best known for its impressive waterworks, an engineering masterpiece of the Victorian and Edwardian eras, which are open to the public once a month. Its waterworks are unusual in that they use steam pumping engines to help pump and distribute water.

The village is decorated with beautiful buildings throughout, as well as two charming pubs. It’s a great place from which to explore the rest of East Sussex, including Rye, famous for its winding streets and antique stores, and the seaside resort of Hastings.

Choose from a variety of personally inspected holiday cottages in and around Brede, with our collection of self-catering accommodation including everything from family-friendly farmhouses to dog-friendly places to stay.
