Holiday homes and self-catering accommodation in Cley, Norfolk

On the north Norfolk coast, four miles north of Holt, you will find the pretty village of Cley-next-the-Sea. In the Middle Ages, it was a thriving sea port, but over the years the river has silted up and it is not quite so near the sea anymore. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Beauty, the area attracts walkers and is on the Norfolk Coastal Path, as well as near the ancient Peddars Way. Bird watchers are attracted to the NWT Cley Marshes Nature Reserve which boasts being the premier bird watching site in the UK. Wandering through the reedbeds, you may be lucky enough to see Brent geese and spoon bills, which are regular visitors in the winter, so don’t forget your binoculars. The visitor centre serves wholesome, locally produced food and drink.
