Travelling between the two sides of the river is easy, with a vehicle and foot passenger chain ferry getting you there in minutes. A highlight of the calendar, Cowes Week is one of the world's largest and oldest regattas and is just as famous for its spectacular fireworks finale as it is for its sailing.
