Just a few miles outside the popular resort town of Newquay lies the village of Crantock, or Lanngorrow as it is known in Cornish: one of the most popular places to visit in North Cornwall. The nearby West Pentire headland is listed as a Site of Special Scientific Interest noted for wild flowers and rare plants.
The beautiful Crantock beach is backed by sand dunes and makes an excellent mark for enjoying a picnic or coastal walk.
