Crich is perhaps most famous for Crich Tramway Village which is a popular tourist attraction for fans of old vehicles of yesteryear. Ride trams and walk the wooded trails around the park, there are shops, cafes and a pub to enjoy too. It’s a great vintage day out for all the family. Though it may be small in size in comparison to other villages in the vicinity, Crich boasts many points of interest, namely the memorial tower atop Crich Hill. A commemorative build for the Sherwood Foresters who died during World War I, its elevated position and 58 steps to the top means that on a clear day, eight different counties can be visible, as well as many famous landmarks such as Lincoln Cathedral.
