Self-catering cottages in Cubert, Cornwall

Not far from the popular seaside resort of Newquay (6 miles), Cubert is a peaceful inland village, offering a quiet destination in which to base yourself for a holiday in North Cornwall. Known for its unusual church with its almost equal in height spire and tower, it has undergone various restorations since the mid-19th century, after being hit by lightning. There are also a couple of holy wells, one in a beach cave which can only be reached at low tide and which draws many visitors for its alleged curative powers, and one via two ornate arched doorways with stone seats where you can sit and listen to the waters.

The village is home to a 13th-century inn, Treguth Tavern, which offers excellent local ales and pub food. For more pubs, restaurants and shops, head to Newquay which has a large selection as well as the renowned Fistral and Porth beaches - perfect for surfing, Newquay Zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium. Whether you are there for the water sports, the family fun or just for a trip away with the dog, our cottages in Cubert in Cornwall provide a relaxing place to stay when a day of fun comes to an end.
