Stay in one of our holiday cottages in Culloden and you can visit the Battlefield of Culloden on Culloden Moor, now a National Trust for Scotland site hosting a fantastic visitor centre where you can learn more about this infamous event – an interactive battle experience brings history to life for all ages.
Present-day Culloden has even more to tell. Book one of our Culloden cottages to enjoy the stunning countryside the Nairn Valley has to offer. Explore the Highlands of Scotland, ticking off some of the best local visitor attractions, such as Cawdor Castle, Fort George and Clava Cairns. The Cairngorms National Park is nearby which is a haven for outdoor adventurers, with hiking, skiing, and climbing on offer or if you prefer to be on the water, head to the Moray Coast with its beautiful golden beaches. Our self-catering accommodation in Culloden is also just 3 miles east of Inverness, which has an abundance of family attractions, including a paintballing site, Inverness Aqua Dome Leisure Waterpark, go-karting and a hop-on-hop-off city sightseeing bus.
