Dornie is a small village in the Kintail district of Ross-shire, in the Highlands of Scotland. The village overlooks the meeting point of a number of large lochs, including Loch Long, Loch Alsh and Loch Duich.

At the south of Dornie lies the famous Eilean Donan Castle, one of the most visited attractions in the Highlands. First inhabited around the 6th century, the first fortified castle was built in the mid 13th century and is open for exploration by the public today.
