Self-catering holiday cottages in Dufftown
Home to the most northerly preserved railway in Scotland, Dufftown in the heart of Speyside is also known as the ‘Malt Whisky’ capital of the world. Book one of our Dufftown cottages to follow the Malt Whisky Trail to one of the nine distilleries in the area (including the famous Glenfiddich distillery) and discover how whisky is made. This small yet lively town is a wonderful base to visit all that greater Speyside has to offer, with walks, mountain biking, fishing and skiing all on offer near our holiday cottages in Dufftown.
Enjoy a round of golf at Dufftown’s 18-hole golf course, try salmon fishing on the River Spey or Deveron, and in the winter, head to the slopes of the Lecht Resort and Aviemore for skiing and snowboarding. Walkers can head out on the Speyside Way or up the mountains of the Cairngorms National Park, and those who like to be beside the seaside can enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches of the Moray Coast nearby - there’s always plenty to keep everyone entertained near our self-catering accommodation in Dufftown.
