Self-catering holiday cottages in Gullane

Gullane is an exceptionally pretty village on the southern shore of the Firth of Forth in East Lothian, Scotland. Just 5 miles west of North Berwick, the village is renowned and famed for its golfing presence, so you can be sure of a superb game on a high-quality course here. This charming coastal village has a beautiful sweep of beach attracting sandcastle makers, kite flyers and windsurfers, and an abundance of activities and attractions such as Dirleton, with its double village green and ruined castle, Myreton Motor Museum and the Museum of Flight at East Fortune.

Step out from our Gullane cottages and enjoy a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. If you fancy a scenic walk, head to Gullane Point from where there are breathtaking views over Gullane Bay and The Firth of Forth beyond. The village is also on the John Muir Way, a long-distance footpath along the coast between Musselburgh and Dunglass. A short drive from our holiday lets in Gullane is the award-winning Glenkinchie Distillery where you can learn about the ancient art of distilling Scotch Whisky or if you’d rather visit a working brewery, then Belhaven Brewery is nearby. Our self-catering accommodation in Gullane also makes a perfect base for day trips to Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh, which is just 20 miles away.
