Self-catering in Gunnislake

Gunnislake is a large village on Cornwall’s eastern border with Devon. The two counties are separated by the River Tamar, which winds its way alongside Gunnislake providing the opportunity for peaceful riverside walks watching the frolicking local water fowl.

Gunnislake’s railway station connects the village with Plymouth via the Tamar Valley Line, offering a useful route to the many amenities of the city, though Gunnislake itself has a number of shops and pubs to keep you entertained, and is well-placed for exploring the rest of South Cornwall.
