Self-catering holiday accommodation in Icklesham

Icklesham is a pleasant village in Sussex that stands on a ridge between the coast and River Brede, with panoramic views across to the hills at Fairlight and the Brede Valley. Its church, All Saints and St Nicholas that dates back to the 12th century.

Icklesham is a great village to set up a holiday base because it has pretty views, good amenities and it’s within good driving distance of the coasts and nature reserves, including Rye Harbour and Romney Marshes. The village has several public houses and a few basic amenities, it is close enough to Hastings for major supply runs. Another interesting attraction that has to be high on the list is the 1066 Walk that goes through the village.
