Set at the southern foot of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, it’s a fantastic jumping-off point for exploring the delights of destinations such as Grassington (19 miles), Bolton Abbey (6 miles) and Pateley Bridge (16 miles) in the heart of Nidderdale.

Once a spa town, it is now the wonderful scenery and fresh countryside air which draws in visitors, with its very own moorland providing fantastic walking terrain.
