Self-catering holiday cottages in Kinghorn

Found on the Fife coast of Scotland, Kinghorn is a small seaside resort. With its two beaches, Kinghorn Beach and Pettycur Bay, and a pretty fishing port there is lots to see and do when staying in the area. Although small, it is popular with walkers and families as it's not too crowded with holidaymakers during the year. With views from both beaches across to Edinburgh and The Lothians, you can see why Kinghorn makes a wonderful holiday spot. A third delightful, sandy beach can be found in the neighbouring village of Aberdour, Silver Sands Beach, and there are many cafes and pubs scattered in the two villages for meals out. Tackle the 3-mile Kinghorn Loch Circular Route for the chance to stretch your legs and take in the picturesque scenery. For families with a keen interest in the natural world, a visit to The Ecology Centre may be in order – they have a range of outdoor activities to interest little ones.

A stay in one of our Kinghorn holiday cottages will make for a perfect base for your Scotland holiday. Across the Firth from Edinburgh and a 26-mile drive, this seaside resort boasts plenty of wonderful places to stay. With family cottages and romantic retreats in and around the village, and more fantastic accommodation throughout the surrounding region, you’ll soon find a cosy bolthole for your next Scottish holiday.
