The small North Yorkshire market town of Kirkbymoorside presents cobbled streets lined with ancient cottages and impressive architecture with interesting discoveries to be found around every corner.
Stay in one of our Kirkbymoorside town holiday cottages and step back in time, with charming period stone cottages, perfectly situated to explore the North Yorkshire National Park. Positioned on the old coaching routes between York and Scarborough, Kirkbymoorside became an important trading place in the 13th Century, and many ambitious landlords opened inns for passing travellers. Some of these inns are still in service today, and you can enjoy a refreshing glass of the local ale or cider and embrace the local culture and ambience of the town, before retiring back along the ancient cobbled streets to your own little cosy hide away.
