Self-catering accommodation in Llanfair PG

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is a small town on the island of Anglesey, North Wales. It has the second longest place name in the world with 58 characters. The Welsh language name was invented in the 1860s to boost the village's popularity with holidaymakers. The name translates into English as, ‘St Mary's Church in the hollow of the white hazel near to the rapid whirlpool of Llantysilio of the red cave.’

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is a very pretty village close to the Menai Strait and other Anglesey visitor attractions such as Beaumaris Castle, Anglesey Sea Zoo, Plas Newydd House and Gardens, and South Stack Lighthouse. Make sure you enjoy a photo opportunity at the extra long village sign on the railway platform at the station.
