Self-catering accommodation in Llanidloes

Sat among the eastern slopes of the Cambrian Mountains, Llanidloes in Powys is a charming market town in Mid Wales, steeped in fascinating history. Nestled on the banks of the River Severn, our Llanidloes accommodation is surrounded by scenic footpaths including Glyndwr’s Way, mountain biking trails in the Hafren Forest and water sports at Llyn Clywedog reservoir, perfect for those who appreciate a little outdoor adventure. This is, in fact, the very first town on the Severn, and a stroll around its pretty streets reveals insight into its past – be sure to admire its half-timbered market hall which dates to around 1600.

Llanidloes holiday inspiration

Escape to our Llanidloes cottages in Wales and explore the local forests, beautiful lakes, and rolling hills. If you fancy some action, then archery, abseiling, canoeing and clay pigeon shooting are all available locally, or if you fancy a more relaxing break, the town boasts a 9-hole golf course, grass tennis courts, and several highly recommended restaurants. Live music, poetry, and stand-up comedy can be found on most nights of the week, so there’s always plenty to do near our self-catering Llanidloes accommodation.
