Self-catering holiday accommodation in Lydd-on-Sea

Overlooking the English Channel, Lydd-on-Sea is a small coastal village home to some unusual sights and buildings. These include Lade Fort, the remains of a fort built to defend against Napoleon, and a collection of sound mirrors, used to detect overhead aircraft before the development of radar.

Lydd-on-Sea is home to a sand and shingle beach, and is set amongst the Dungeness National Nature Reserve, a haven for bird watchers and nature lovers. You can also explore the surrounding area aboard the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, which passes through the village.

Explore the coast of Kent from our Lydd-on-Sea holiday cottages – a wide variety of Lydd-on-Sea self-catering accommodation is available in and around the village.
